Ricoh and the Environment

Ricoh Americas live by a philosophy we call, "Our earth, Our tomorrow". It's a statement of the idea that because we all share the planet, we are all obligated to protect and preserve it. We also believe that good corporate citizenship is good business, therefore as of FY 2001, we have achieved ISO 14001 Certification at all Ricoh Americas facilities.

Ricoh Japan develops products with the goal of keeping the environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycles within the range that is sustainable.

Many U.S. states have implemented laws that call for the environmentally friendly disposal/recycling of electronic products, some of which include provisions for office imaging equipment that Ricoh markets and manufactures (multi-functional products, printers, faxes, digital duplicators, scanners). Regulations vary from state-to-state. Below, is information for states with current e-waste regulations affecting our industry. Some provide consumers with instructions and contact information for handling ewaste within their resident states. We will update this page as new regulations are introduced.
